We opened the doors of our Day Hab Program in January of 2000 in the 149th st (HUB section of the South Bronx).  The program was established to provide functional, social, personal development and community awareness skills to developmentally disabled adults 18 and up.

Through community canvassing we have established volunteer worksite commitments with Bronx Based businesses and social service organizations in and around the Mott Haven community. Volunteer worksites have afforded our participants the opportunity to serve as kitchen, janitorial, library and teacher aides.

 

Our program is dedicated to providing quality experiences for those who are often overlooked in society. We support and encourage each participant to strive to be all they can be regardless of the challenges they may face.

Today We are located in a 5000sq ft. facility on the campus of the Bank Note Building at 851 Barreto St in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx.
