Hiring Process
We welcome candidates to apply for positions that are available by submitting your cover letter and resume to human resources via fax or email. Once your resume is received it is reviewed by a hiring manager, and if your qualifications meet the position requirments you will be contacted. Due to the heavy volume of resumes that we receive, we will only contact those candidates that meet the requirements of the position being filled.
Phone Screeing
If your resume is selected by the hiring manager you will be contacted by human resources for a phone screeing. The first step in the process is confirming that you meet the basic qualifications with regards to our education and license requirments (if applicable), and that your availability to work matches the potential schedule of the vacancy. You will then be given the opportunity to briefly present yourself as the best candidate for the position and share how you will contribute to the mission of the organization. If the screening meets our expectation an in person interview will be scheduled.
In-Person Screeing and Formal Interview
If you are invited to an in-person screening, your first point of contact will be the human resources office at which time you will complete the Employment Application. A human resources representative will meet with you to discuss in detail your experience with specific position that you have applied for and your exposure in the field of social services. If you are selected to move forward in the process, you will be scheduled for a formal interview with the hiring manager.
